FAQs

What kind of wax do you use?

All services are performed with high-quality hypoallergenic & vegan wax. A variety of hard and soft waxes for all skin and hair types.

Why wax?

Waxing is one of the best ways to temporarily remove unwanted hair. It is more effective than shaving because it removes hair from the roots, not just from the skin’s surface. Over time, hair in waxed areas regrows lighter and more sparse, or not at all in areas.

How long does my hair need to be?

Hair needs to be a minimum of 3 weeks of growth. If hair is too short, the wax will not effectively remove hair. If you have been shaving, you will need at least 4 weeks of growth for waxing service.

Can I wax during my menstrual cycle or pregnant?

Yes! Although you will have to wear a tampon. We do encourage guests that are not comfortable to reach out and reschedule during these times.

You absolutely can receive wax service until the due date unless otherwise instructed by doctors. We do need postpartum ladies to receive the all-clear at a 6-week check from doctors to resume wax services.

How do we keep guests protected?

The room is sanitized at every point of contact during service between every guest. We never double-dip, to assure no cross-contamination. We always wear disposable gloves. We use hospital-grade sanitation for all tools and surfaces. We still require masks to be worn in the studio.

How should I prepare my skin before my wax?

Exfoliate at least 2 days prior to your appointment. This will prepare the hair to come out with ease. Come relaxed in loose-fitted clothing for comfort.

What to do after a wax appointment?

All first-time guests are given a home-care card and instructions during and after the appointment with the opportunity to purchase home-care products in the studio.
